We experienced one failed ERP implementation and one successful one—though this "success" took 9 months, cost us $100k, and left us dependent on external consultants.
When we led a finance team of 12 people, most of our team's time was spent in the ERP on data entry, manual reconciliation, and waiting for pages to load. How could it be that the only options available to CFOs were built in the 80s? We took matters into our own hands and built DualEntry: the ERP we needed.
